About 15 Manor Crescent

We are a small residential home on Manor Crescent in West Byfleet, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, including people with physical disabilities. Being small lets us run as a household rather than a service. The people who live here have their own rooms and their own things, and they take part in deciding how the house works: what is cooked, when meals happen, what gets bought and where everyone goes at the weekend. For adults who have often had very little say in daily life, that ordinary degree of control is much of the point of the place. Support is built around each person and what they want to be able to do, whether that is work, college, volunteering, getting out regularly, keeping up with family, managing money with a hand from staff or learning to do more around the house. Where somebody needs help with personal care, mobility or health appointments, we give it without taking over more of the task than is necessary. Predictability counts for a great deal here, so we keep staffing as consistent as we can and try not to change arrangements without warning and explanation. Respite stays are available alongside longer places. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are looking for a place for yourself or someone in your family, please come and visit and ask us anything.
