About Fircroft Home
Fircroft Home is a residential care home in Redhill, Surrey, supporting adults who need help with daily living in a house that feels like a home rather than an institution. The people who live here are a varied group. Some are older adults who need help with personal care, mobility and medication. Some are living with dementia. Others have a learning disability or are autistic, or are managing mental health conditions, and we support younger adults as well as older people. What holds all of that together is treating everybody as an individual with their own history, preferences and opinions. We start with the person. We find out how they communicate, what they want help with, what they would rather do themselves and what matters enough to be worth protecting. Support plans are agreed with them, and with families or advocates where that is wanted, and we revisit them as circumstances change rather than letting them go stale. We also offer respite stays, giving family carers a planned break while their relative stays somewhere welcoming and properly staffed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are pleased with that, though the measure we pay most attention to is whether people living here are content with their days. If you would like to see Fircroft, please get in touch and arrange a visit. Come and meet the staff and ask us whatever you want to know.
