About Us

Here at Ashbourne Court Care Home in Aldershot, Surrey, we provide residential and dementia care for older people, as well as support for those living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some time to rest.

We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our aim is straightforward: to make sure each person who lives with us feels genuinely at home, known as an individual, and supported to live as well as possible day to day.

Our team works hard to understand what matters to each resident, from their daily routines and preferences to their longer term wellbeing. For those living with dementia, we take particular care to create a calm, familiar environment where people feel safe and orientated, with approaches that are shaped around the individual rather than a one size fits all method.

We want to be honest with the people we support and their families. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as requires improvement, and we have taken that assessment seriously. We have been working through the areas identified and continue to make changes that we believe will make a real and lasting difference to the standard of care we provide. We welcome families who want to visit, ask questions, and see for themselves how things are progressing.

If you would like to find out whether Ashbourne Court could be the right place for someone you care about, please do get in touch. We are always happy to show you around and have an honest conversation about how we can help.
