About Us
37 Hill Top View is a small residential home in Rugeley, and we support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults to live the life they choose. Because we are small, the atmosphere is domestic rather than clinical. People have their own space, their own belongings and a real say in how the house runs.
We plan support around what each person wants to do, not around a timetable that suits us. That might mean help with cooking and shopping, support to keep a college place or a job, assistance to travel independently, or simply someone alongside on a difficult day. For autistic people we pay close attention to sensory needs and to warning of changes well in advance, because unexpected change is often the hardest part.
We also offer respite stays. Families who care at home need proper rest, and a planned break works far better than a crisis. People coming for respite are welcome to visit first so the house is not unfamiliar when they arrive.
Our staff are trained in positive behaviour support and in communication approaches that suit the people living here, including picture based and signed communication where that helps. We involve families and advocates as much as the person wants.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you would like to look round, please get in touch.
