About Us

Here at Elizabeth House, we offer residential care for a range of people across our welcoming home in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. We are proud to support older people, younger adults, and individuals living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, and we also provide respite care for those who need a short term stay.

We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person and their family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our aim is straightforward: to make sure everyone who lives here feels genuinely at home, not just looked after. That means getting to know each person as an individual, understanding what matters to them day to day, and building care around their preferences rather than fitting them into a routine that suits us.

Life at Elizabeth House is shaped by the people who live here. We encourage residents to stay involved in decisions about their own care, to maintain their independence wherever possible, and to continue doing the things they enjoy. Whether someone is with us for a short respite stay or has made Elizabeth House their permanent home, we want their time here to feel comfortable, familiar, and genuinely theirs.

Our team works hard to create an environment that feels warm and unhurried. We take time to listen, to notice the small things, and to build real relationships with residents and their families. Families are always welcome here, and we actively encourage them to stay involved in the life of their loved one.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and welcome anyone who would like to visit, ask questions, or simply come and get a feel for the home before making any decisions. You are always welcome to get in touch.
