About Us
We at The Grove Residential Home are proud to offer a warm and welcoming residential care home in Bristol, where compassionate support for older people sits at the heart of everything we do. Nestled within the South Gloucestershire area, our home offers a peaceful setting whilst remaining well connected to the wider Bristol community, making visits from loved ones easy and convenient.
Our home has been thoughtfully arranged to feel familiar, comfortable and genuinely homely. Residents can enjoy shared spaces designed for conversation and companionship, alongside quieter areas for moments of calm and reflection. The surroundings of the BS postcode area provide a friendly local atmosphere, and the wider South West region offers a real sense of community that our residents truly appreciate.
We specialise in older person care and residential care, providing day to day support tailored around each individual. For those living with dementia, our team takes time to understand personal histories, preferences and routines, helping each resident feel safe, valued and understood. We also support people with mental health needs, offering patient and considered care that focuses on emotional wellbeing as much as physical comfort. For residents living with visual or hearing impairment, we adapt the way we communicate and the way we arrange daily life so that no one feels left out of conversations, activities or decisions about their own care.
In practice, this means families can expect open communication, gentle encouragement and a genuine interest in the people we look after. Whether it is supporting a familiar morning routine, sharing a favourite meal, or simply sitting together for a chat, our approach is built on dignity, respect and warmth.
We are extremely proud to hold an Outstanding overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, following our most recent inspection in January 2021. This includes Outstanding ratings for being Responsive and Well-led, alongside Good ratings for being Safe, Effective and Caring. For families, this recognition reflects a culture of strong leadership and a commitment to listening, adapting and responding to the changing needs of every resident in our care.
Choosing a care home is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you are exploring options for a loved one in Bristol or the wider South Gloucestershire area, we would be delighted to hear from you, answer your questions and help you feel confident about the next step. You are very welcome to get in touch with us at The Grove Residential Home, where kindness, quality and community come together.
