About Frith House
Frith House is a residential care home in Burnham On Sea, caring for older people who can no longer manage safely on their own, and supporting younger adults who need residential care. We aim for the feel of a household rather than an institution, with people keeping their own routines, their own belongings and a genuine say in how their day goes. We support people living with dementia, and that work rests on continuity above all else. Knowing what somebody's day used to look like and keeping as much of it as we can matters more than any amount of written planning. Respite stays are available too, for people who need care for a short period and for family carers who need a proper break. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of it and also clear about what it means. A rating reflects a point in time. What keeps a home good is the ordinary daily effort, knowing what each person likes for breakfast, noticing when somebody has gone quiet and telling families things before they have to ask. Please come and see us.
