About Langold View
We are Langold View, a residential care home near Worksop. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities, including younger adults. Respite stays are available. We plan around individuals rather than around a single routine. The people living here have quite different notions of a good week. Some want to be busy, with work, college, sport or regular groups and plenty of getting out. Others want quiet and a rhythm they can rely on, and where change is unsettling we keep things steady and prepare carefully for anything unusual. Because we also support people with physical disabilities, a good deal of our attention goes on access, equipment and the practical business of getting about. Where those needs are met properly and without fuss, they stop shaping somebody's day and leave them free to think about the rest of their life. We are careful about independence too. If somebody can do a thing themselves, more slowly than we could do it for them, that is their time and their decision. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to look round.
