About Us
We are Chase Lodge Care Home in Weston super Mare, North Somerset. We are a residential care home for older people and younger adults, including adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and people managing mental health conditions, and we also offer respite stays.
We try to run a home that is genuinely somebody's home. People have their own rooms, arranged as they like, and decide how their days go. Some want company and a busy lounge, others want quiet and their own door closed, and both are entirely fine. We support people to stay connected with family and friends, to get out into the town and along the seafront, and to keep up with whatever they were doing before they came to us.
Supporting people of different ages and needs under one roof works only if you take everyone individually, so each person has their own plan, written with them, covering what they want help with and what they would rather do alone.
Our staff team is kept as consistent as we can manage. Familiar faces matter to everybody here and matter enormously to people who find change difficult.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We keep auditing ourselves regardless.
