About Us
Here at Acer House Care Home, we provide residential and dementia care for people living in Weston Super Mare and the wider North Somerset area. We welcome older adults, younger adults, and individuals with a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements, or whose families need some time to rest.
We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or family will ever make, and we do not take that lightly. From the moment someone contacts us, we try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. We want people to feel genuinely at home here, not just settled in, but comfortable, known, and respected as individuals.
Our team works hard to understand what matters to each person in our care. Routines, preferences, relationships, and personal history all shape the way we support someone day to day. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach, because the people who live here are not all the same, and they should not be treated as though they are.
We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection resulted in a rating of Good across the board. That outcome reflects the everyday effort of everyone who works here, and we are proud of it, though we are always looking at how we can do even better.
If you would like to find out more about life at Acer House, or if you are considering care for yourself or someone you love, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation, show you around, and answer any questions you might have.
