About Vale View
Vale View is a residential care home near Spilsby supporting adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, including younger adults who are building a life of their own. It is a home rather than an institution, and the people who live here have a genuine say in how the place runs. Support is worked out one person at a time. Some residents want help with most parts of the day; others need very little practical help but depend on us for routine, encouragement and staff who understand how they communicate and what a hard day looks like for them. We take our time at the start, and we listen to the people who know somebody best. Daily life means the ordinary things: cooking, shopping, laundry, keeping your own room as you want it, choosing what to do at the weekend and getting out into the local area. Being in this part of Lincolnshire means the countryside is on the doorstep, and we make use of it. We support people to do what they can for themselves, even when it takes longer. Our staff are trained in communication and in supporting somebody who is distressed, and we keep the team consistent so people are not constantly adjusting to new faces. Respite stays are available and give family carers a proper break. Please get in touch if you would like to visit.
