About Us
OSJCT Skirbeck Court is a residential care home in Boston, Lincolnshire. We provide care for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we offer respite stays.
We aim to run the home as a household. Residents keep their own routines and their own things around them, choose how they spend the day and are helped with washing, dressing, medication and mobility in the way that suits them best. Food is something to look forward to, and there should be something in the day worth getting up for.
Good dementia care comes from knowing people. Our team learns each resident's history, their family and the things that reassure them when they are unsettled, and we work at their pace. For residents with a sensory impairment, we pay attention to lighting, noise and how we approach somebody, because those details do a great deal for confidence.
Relatives are welcome here, and we keep in touch with them about health and mood rather than waiting for something to go wrong.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
If you are looking at residential care in Boston, please arrange a visit and see the home on an ordinary day.
