About Ashridge
Ashridge is a residential care home in Boston, Lincolnshire. We support older people and younger adults, including residents living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, and people managing mental health conditions. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places. Having that mix under one roof means our support has to be genuinely individual rather than individual in name only. We learn how each person wants their day to run, how they communicate, what they can still do for themselves and where they actually want a hand, and we write support plans with the person rather than about them. For residents living with dementia, familiarity does most of the work, so we keep staffing steady and the day predictable and we ask relatives for the details of a life that make conversation possible. For autistic residents, predictable routines and attention to sensory needs usually count for more than anything else we do. Respite stays are planned with the same thought as a permanent move, because a fortnight still has to feel like somewhere you belong. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
