About Rosenmanor 1
Rosenmanor 1 is a small residential care home in Lambeth for adults living with mental health conditions. We provide permanent places and also respite stays. We run this as a household rather than a unit. People have their own room and their own routine, they have a genuine say in the shopping, the meals and how the house works, and they come and go as agreed. Our staff are here to make things possible rather than to take over, and we support people to manage as much as they can for themselves. What tends to help most is stability, being treated as an adult, and having people around who notice early when things are becoming harder. We ask people what has helped them in the past, we pay attention to the early signs, and we work with community mental health teams so that support can be stepped up before a situation becomes a crisis. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather state that openly than have anyone find it out later. We have worked through what the inspection identified, in particular how we plan and record care and how we support staff to work consistently, and we are willing to talk through the detail with anyone who asks. If you are looking for a placement in Lambeth, please contact us and arrange to come and see the house.
