About The White House
We are a residential care home in Feltham supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, including younger adults and older people who need help with daily living. We run the house as a home rather than a service. People living here have their own rooms and their own things, and they have a genuine say in how the place works: what is cooked, when meals happen, what is bought and where everyone goes at the weekend. For adults who have often had very little say in daily life, that ordinary degree of control is central to what we do. Support is built around the individual. For some people it means work, college or volunteering. For others it is about getting out regularly, keeping up with family, managing money with help, learning to do more in the kitchen or around the house, or simply having staff who understand how they communicate and what unsettles them. Where somebody has grown older with us, we adapt what we provide rather than expecting them to move on. Predictability matters here, so we keep staffing as consistent as we can and try not to change arrangements without warning. Respite stays are available as well as longer places. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Please come and visit if you are looking for a place for yourself or a member of your family.
