About Us
Willow Court is a residential care home in Waltham Abbey, Essex. We support autistic adults and adults with a learning disability, people managing mental ill health or an eating disorder, adults with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. We also offer respite stays.
Supporting that range under one roof is only possible if care is planned for the individual rather than the group. We spend real time getting to know somebody, write plans that describe the person rather than the category, and review them honestly as things change. What steadies one person here would unsettle another, and we would rather find that out by asking than by guessing.
People choose how their rooms look, take part in the ordinary business of the house as much as they want to, and get out to what they enjoy locally. Where somebody wants a job, a course or a regular club, that belongs in the plan.
Where somebody is in recovery, we offer reliability without judgement and work alongside the specialist teams involved rather than around them. Where mental health is fragile, we watch for early signs and involve the GP and community team promptly.
Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Visitors and referrers are welcome.

Ask the home. The home has not told us its pet policy yet. Ask directly; some homes allow small pets in residents' rooms or welcome visiting dogs.
Can a couple stay together?
Ask the home. We do not know whether the home has rooms for couples. Ask about shared or adjoining rooms if this matters.
Will the council help pay, or is it self funded only?
Ask the home. The home has not told us which funding it accepts. Most homes take both council funded and self funded residents; ask about council rates and any top up. Use our funding calculator to check what you might pay.
