About Us

Here at Dorley House, we provide residential care in the heart of Eastbourne, East Sussex, supporting older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia in a place that genuinely feels like home.

We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our team works hard to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their routines, preferences, and the things that matter most to them day to day. That personal approach shapes everything we do, from how we plan care to how we spend an ordinary Tuesday afternoon together.

Our specialisms span older person care, residential care, dementia care, younger adults, and respite care. Whether someone is joining us for a short break to give their family some breathing space, or is making Dorley House their permanent home, we aim to make that experience as comfortable and as reassuring as possible. For those living with dementia, we work thoughtfully to create an environment that feels calm, familiar, and supportive at every stage of the journey.

We are pleased to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine commitment our team brings to the care we provide each day. We see that rating not as a finishing line but as a reminder to keep listening, keep improving, and keep putting the people in our care at the centre of every decision.

If you are considering care for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and see us in person. A conversation costs nothing, and we are always happy to answer questions and show you around at a time that suits you.
