About Three Sisters

Three Sisters is a residential care home in Keighley, supporting adults and younger adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic. We are a small home, and we mean to stay small, because the support we offer depends on knowing each person thoroughly. Everyone here has a support plan written with them and in a form they can genuinely use. We take time to learn how each individual communicates, including through routine, mood and behaviour, and we adapt what we do rather than expecting people to fit around us. A predictable day, careful attention to sensory needs and familiar staff are usually what make the difference between a settled week and a hard one. We want the house to run like a home. People take part in the shopping and cooking, share the chores, choose what happens at the weekend, see their family and friends, and get out into Keighley and the countryside beyond it. Where someone wants to learn to do more for themselves, we support the practice rather than doing the job for them. We also offer respite stays, which give families a planned break and let the person enjoy somewhere they already know. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
