About Eliza Palmer Hub

Eliza Palmer Hub is a nursing home in Walton on Thames, with registered nurses on duty around the clock alongside our care team. We look after older people whose health needs require nursing, people with physical disabilities, and people with loss of sight or hearing. People generally come to us when their health needs have grown beyond what residential care or support at home can safely meet. The nursing covers management of long term conditions, wound and skin care, continence support, help where eating and swallowing have become difficult, and careful oversight of medication. We work closely with local GPs, district nurses, dietitians and therapists. What we work hardest to avoid is letting the clinical side take over the day. Someone living here is a person before they are a set of needs. For people with sensory loss we adapt how we communicate, how rooms are lit and how we approach and announce ourselves. Respite stays are available. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and visitors are welcome.
