About Coppice Lea

We are a nursing home in Redhill, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with the everyday parts of life. Nurses are on hand at any hour, so a change in somebody's condition can be noticed and acted on early. Most of the people who live here are older, and we also care for younger adults whose health needs mean nursing care is necessary. We support people living with dementia, where familiar staff and unhurried time matter more than any particular method, and we build the day around the person rather than a timetable. Respite stays are available, whether for a family carer who needs a genuine break or for someone recovering after illness or a spell in hospital. We would rather be plain about inspection than quiet about it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. That is not where we want to be and we will not present it as anything else. Particular things were found wanting, work is under way on them, and the fair test is whether you can see and feel the difference when you visit. So please do visit. Look round, talk to residents and staff, and ask us directly what was found and what has changed since. That is the only reliable way to judge a home for someone you care about.
