About Robertson Nursing Home

Robertson Nursing Home is a nursing home in Godalming, Surrey, caring for older people whose health needs require qualified nursing alongside everyday support. Having nurses on our team changes what we are able to offer. We can look after people with complex or unpredictable health needs, support those recovering from illness or surgery, and continue caring for someone as their condition progresses, without them having to move somewhere new at the hardest possible moment. Families tell us that reassurance matters as much to them as it does to the person in our care. Many of our residents are living with dementia. We keep the day calm and predictable, we avoid rushing anybody, and we ask families to tell us about the person's life so that we can talk about the things that still mean something to them. Small details do a great deal of work here. We also welcome people for respite stays, whether a family carer needs a planned break or someone needs nursing support for a short period before returning home. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are pleased with that, though the judgement we pay closest attention to is what residents and their relatives tell us directly. If you are looking at nursing care in the Godalming area, you are very welcome to visit. Ring us and we will arrange a time, show you round without rushing, and answer whatever you need to ask.
