About Arbrook House Care Home

Arbrook House is a nursing home in Esher, Surrey. We care for older people who need registered nursing alongside help with daily life, and we also support younger adults whose health needs call for a nurse on duty at any hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. That reflects something fairly ordinary rather than anything showy: staff who stay, who know the people they care for, who are given time to do the job properly, and who will say when something needs putting right. Nursing cover around the clock is what allows us to support people with genuinely complex needs. It means managing medication, skin and pressure care, continence and nutrition, and watching health closely enough that changes are caught early. Where somebody is nearing the end of their life, it means keeping them comfortable in a familiar place with familiar people. Clinical care alone is not enough, though. A nursing home can easily become somewhere everything is done to people and almost nothing is chosen by them. Here residents decide when they get up, what they eat, whether they join in and who visits. Respite and short stays are available, including for people recovering after hospital. Please get in touch if you would like to visit Arbrook House and see how it feels.
