About Kings Lodge
Kings Lodge is a nursing home in Camberley, Surrey. We care for older people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with everyday living, including those living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. Respite stays are available as well as permanent places. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather put that in front of a family than have them find it elsewhere. We know which areas were identified, work is under way on them, and we are willing to talk anybody through the detail of what has changed. Having registered nurses on duty at all hours means clinical needs can be met here rather than through repeated journeys elsewhere, and that when somebody's needs change they usually do not have to move on. Around that sits the ordinary business of a day. Mornings that are not rushed, food worth sitting down to, company when it is wanted and quiet when it is not. For people living with dementia, consistency does most of the work. Familiar faces, a steady shape to the day, and staff who neither hurry nor correct. Please come and visit on a normal day, speak to residents and relatives, and judge the home for yourself. We would rather be assessed that way than on a page.
