About The Grange Nursing Home
The Grange Nursing Home is in Addlestone, Surrey. We provide nursing care for older people, with registered nurses on duty so that health needs can be met here rather than requiring a move every time something changes. Our nursing work covers long term conditions, wound and pressure area care, nutrition and hydration, continence support and medication, in close contact with GPs, district nurses and hospital teams. We also care for residents living with dementia, and our approach there rests on familiarity and patience. The day has a shape without being run to a timetable, surroundings stay recognisable, and we take time early on to learn about somebody's life, work and habits, because knowing who a person has been tells us a great deal about how to care for them now. What matters just as much is that none of this takes over somebody's day. A resident here still chooses when to get up, what to eat, where to sit and who to see, and their care is discussed with them rather than about them. Families are welcome and we ask relatives to stay closely involved. Respite stays are available for people needing nursing support for a short period and for families who need a planned break. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please come and visit us and ask us whatever you want to know.
