About Bilbrook Rose Care Home
Bilbrook Rose Care Home is a nursing home near Wolverhampton, in Staffordshire. We care for adults who need qualified nursing support as well as help with the ordinary parts of daily life. Those living with us include older people, adults living with dementia, adults with a physical disability and younger adults needing nursing care. We plan with each person individually, asking about their history, their routines, what they can still do themselves and what they would like help with. Families usually know things that no assessment would uncover, so we ask them too. Nurses are on duty here throughout the day and night. Medication, wound care, nutrition and changes in health are managed on site, and when something needs attention it gets it promptly rather than in the morning. We work alongside general practitioners, district nurses and community specialists so that care is joined up. We also try to keep the feel of a household rather than a clinic. Meals are cooked here, residents decide how to spend their time, bedrooms are furnished with their own things, and visitors are welcome throughout the day. Where someone is nearing the end of life, we concentrate on comfort, calm and having the people they love nearby. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet received an overall rating. If you are considering nursing care in the Wolverhampton area, please arrange to visit. We will take the time to answer your questions properly.
