About Us
We are Limewood Nursing and Residential Home in Stafford. We care for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing or residential care, including people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Respite stays are available.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement, and we would rather tell you that ourselves than have you find it elsewhere. We have worked through the findings in detail, changed how care is planned, recorded and reviewed, and strengthened the way we supervise and support our staff. Our progress is being monitored, and relatives are given the same account of it that we give the regulator.
Because we offer both residential and nursing care, people do not have to move on when their health needs increase, and that continuity is one of the things we are most determined to protect while we put the rest right. Around the nursing, people should still be choosing when to get up, what to eat and how to spend the day.
