About Us
We are Albemarle Court Nursing Home in Nottingham. We provide nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, those managing mental health conditions, those with physical disabilities and those with sight or hearing loss, and we also offer respite stays.
With registered nurses on duty at every hour, we are able to support people whose health needs go well beyond what a residential home can safely manage. Our team pays close attention to the things that make the greatest practical difference: medicines managed accurately, skin and pressure areas checked, mobility maintained, eating and drinking encouraged, and pain treated rather than tolerated. We work closely with local GPs, district nurses and specialist services so that problems are dealt with early.
Just as important is the ordinary texture of life here. People choose when to get up and how to spend their time, keep their own belongings around them, follow their own faith and interests, and see family and friends when they wish. We ask about the life somebody has led, not only the conditions they live with, and we expect our staff to know both.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat it as a description of a moment rather than a guarantee, and we audit ourselves accordingly.
If you are weighing up nursing care in Nottingham, please come and see us and take your time over the decision.
