About Us
The Woodlands provides residential and nursing care in Mansfield. We care for older people who need help with daily living, for those who need qualified nursing, for residents living with dementia, for people living with mental health conditions, for people with a physical disability and for people whose sight or hearing is impaired. We also support people living with eating disorders.
Offering both residential and nursing care matters more than it might sound. It means that when somebody's health changes we can adjust what we provide rather than asking them to move again, and that continuity is one of the things families value most.
Nurses on duty around the clock let us manage wound and pressure care, continence needs, diabetes, pain relief and end of life care properly. For residents living with dementia we keep the day predictable and staff consistent. Where sight or hearing is impaired we keep belongings where they are expected and check we have been understood.
Respite stays are available alongside permanent places.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families across Nottinghamshire are welcome to visit.
