About Us

Here at Sherwood Grange Care Centre, we provide nursing home care for older adults in the heart of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our whole team puts in every single day to make this a place where people feel safe, valued and at home.

Our focus is on older person care, and we understand that moving into a nursing home is a significant step, both for the person coming to live with us and for their family. We take that seriously. From the moment someone walks through our doors, we want them to feel that they are in a place where their wellbeing genuinely matters and where their individuality is respected. People are not defined by their care needs, and we always try to see the whole person.

We provide full nursing care on site, meaning that residents with complex or ongoing health conditions can have those needs met without having to travel elsewhere. Our nursing team works closely with residents, families and visiting healthcare professionals to make sure care plans are kept current and responsive to how someone is feeling day to day.

We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether that is to give a family carer a break or to support someone during a period of recovery. We put just as much thought into short stays as we do into longer term residency, because every person who comes through our doors deserves the same quality of attention.

If you would like to find out more about Sherwood Grange Care Centre, or come and have a look around, we would be very happy to hear from you. We always encourage families and prospective residents to visit and ask us anything they like.
