About Melton Place

We are Melton Place, a nursing home in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including people managing mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities, and we also offer respite stays for those who need nursing support for a short period. Having registered nurses on duty at all hours means we can care for people whose health is complex or changing, and it means families do not have to wonder who is on hand in the middle of the night. Our team works alongside GPs, district nurses, therapists and specialist services across Leicestershire so that problems are picked up early rather than at the point of crisis. We are just as interested in the parts of life that have nothing to do with health. People here choose their own routines, keep their own belongings around them, follow their own interests and faith, and see family and friends when they wish. Younger adults in particular should not have their lives shrunk to fit a nursing home, and we work hard to make sure they do not. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We keep examining our own practice rather than assuming a rating carries itself forward. If nursing care in the Melton Mowbray area is something you are considering, please come and visit us, meet the nursing team and take your time.
