About Holywell Park

Holywell Park is a nursing home in Sevenoaks, Kent, providing nursing care for older people, with respite stays available alongside permanent places. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Registered nurses are here at all hours, which changes what we can look after. Wounds, diabetes, catheter care, pain relief and care at the end of life are managed here by people who know the resident well, and that usually means fewer hospital admissions and far less disruption for someone who is already unwell. We work closely with local GPs, district nursing colleagues and specialist palliative teams, and we speak plainly to families about what we are seeing. Beyond the clinical side, what makes a day worth having is ordinary. A decent breakfast, a familiar face, a proper conversation, something to look forward to. Our team is expected to spend real time with residents rather than moving briskly through tasks, and residents decide how they want their days to go. Respite stays often follow a hospital admission or give a family carer a genuine break, and they are provided with the same level of nursing support. Choosing nursing care is seldom a comfortable decision and it is often made under pressure. If it would help to look round or simply talk it through, please contact us and we will make time for you.
