About Us
Deer Park Care Home is a nursing home in Ledbury, Herefordshire. Registered nurses are part of the team here at all hours, alongside care staff who come to know each person well. We care for older adults, including many people living with dementia, and we offer respite stays as well as permanent places.
People usually come to us at a difficult point, whether because a condition has progressed, because a hospital stay has changed what somebody can manage, or because a family carer can no longer carry what they have been carrying alone. We try to make that move as gentle as it can be, which mostly means listening properly at the start and not rushing anybody into our habits.
The clinical care has to be right and we hold ourselves to it. Alongside that, we look after the parts of life that are easily lost in a nursing home. Familiar belongings, food somebody actually likes, a say in when the day begins, quiet when quiet is wanted, and visitors who are genuinely welcome.
For those living with dementia, calm surroundings and a dependable routine do more good than anything else we could offer, and we protect both deliberately.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
