About Us
Vale Court Care Home in Ellesmere Port is a nursing home caring for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing support, including residents living with dementia and residents with a physical disability.
Having nurses on site at every hour means clinical needs are met here rather than requiring a move elsewhere, and that people can stay with us as their health changes. We keep a close watch on medication, pain relief, skin care and nutrition, and we involve GPs and community teams early rather than waiting for small concerns to become serious ones.
The day itself is what residents and families notice most, so we work at it. Mornings are flexible, meals are cooked on the premises and adapted to individual tastes, and support with washing and dressing follows the resident's pace rather than the rota's. Company is there for those who want it and peace for those who would rather have their own room and a visit from family.
For residents living with dementia we keep routines familiar and take real trouble to learn a person's earlier life, because that is usually what allows us to settle someone who is distressed.
We also offer respite care, whether to give a family carer a break or to provide nursing support after a hospital stay. Families are welcome here.
