About Nautilus Care
We provide care at home in Wallasey and the surrounding part of the Wirral, supporting people who want to go on living in their own houses. For most of the people we visit, the point of our support is not the tasks themselves but what those tasks make possible: staying in a familiar house, keeping up with friends and neighbours, and holding on to a routine that is genuinely their own. We work mainly with older people, and we also support younger adults who need help at home. Visits might involve help with washing and dressing, support with medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, or simply company and someone to talk things over with. It is often the company that people tell us they had been missing most. We put real effort into continuity, because care at home works best when the person arriving already knows how you like your tea and what sort of morning you are having. It also means we notice when something has changed and can raise it early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat that as encouragement rather than a conclusion, and we keep asking the people we support what we could do better. If you would like to talk about care at home, we are glad to do so without any obligation.
