About Caring Connections

Caring Connections Wirral supports people in their own homes in Birkenhead and across the Wirral. We are a home care agency, which means our care workers come to you, and the point of the whole arrangement is that you stay where you want to be. We support older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults. Those are very different kinds of support, so we start with a conversation about how someone lives now rather than with a set package, and we change the arrangement as needs change. Visits might cover personal care, support with medication, meals and shopping, help around the house, or company for somebody who would otherwise spend the day alone. We try hard to keep the same care workers with the same people, because that is what allows someone to notice a change early and act on it.
