About Us
Guild Care Domiciliary Care supports people in their own homes in Worthing and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We work with a wide range of adults, and every arrangement starts with a conversation about what the person wants from their day rather than with a standard package.
For older people we help with personal care, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and keeping the home in order, and we support people to get out to appointments or simply out of the house. Where somebody is living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting wherever the rota allows, follow the routine already in place and leave the home as the person knows it.
We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, where the work is usually about independence and about communicating in the way that suits the individual, and adults with mental health needs, where reliability and respect matter more than paperwork. For people with a physical disability we help with moving safely and managing at home, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and take care not to move things without saying so. Younger adults are supported around their own lives.
Our care workers are trained for the people they actually visit, and we are honest about what we cannot safely take on.
