About Us
GoodOaks Homecare supports people in their own homes across Horsham, Crawley and the surrounding parts of West Sussex.
We arrange our visits around the person rather than around a standard pattern, and we would rather provide fewer, longer visits that actually achieve something than a run of short calls that leave everyone feeling rushed. Support covers personal care, medication, meals, housework and shopping, and equally the business of getting out, staying in touch and keeping a shape to the week.
Most of our work is with older people, including many living with dementia, and consistency is where we put our effort. A carer who knows a household can tell within a minute how someone is today and adjusts without making anything of it. We also support adults living with mental health needs, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we communicate and how we work in someone's home. Younger adults are part of our work too.
