About Us

At Classic Care, we provide home care support to people across Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. We work with individuals who need a little extra help at home, whether that means support with day to day tasks, personal care, or more specialist assistance for those living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or visual and hearing impairments.

We know that choosing home care is a significant decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our aim is always to help the people we support maintain as much independence and comfort as possible, within the surroundings they know and love. Home matters, and we genuinely believe that good care should feel like a natural extension of someone's life rather than an interruption to it.

Our team is carefully matched to the people we work with, and we take time to understand individual needs, preferences, and routines before putting any support in place. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach. The people we care for are at the centre of every decision we make, and their families and loved ones are always kept in the loop.

We are proud to have received a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts in day after day. It means a great deal to us, though we always look for ways to keep improving.

If you are considering care for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch. We are happy to have an honest conversation about what we can offer and whether we might be the right fit. There is no pressure, just a straightforward chat about how we might be able to help.

More about the care at Classic Care Services Limited

What each type of care involves, and the questions worth asking when you call or visit.

Dementia

What families notice first is a carer's manner, unhurried, plain spoken and willing to go along with whatever version of the day a person is living in. Classic Care Services holds a dementia registration, which describes what it may take on rather than how it works. Ask how many different carers would visit in a month, because an unfamiliar face at the door is unsettling when memory is patchy. Ask what carers are trained to do when someone refuses help, becomes agitated or has left the house alone. It is worth asking too how the agency communicates with family between visits, and when it would say that home care no longer meets the need.

Mental Health

Dignity and a predictable week do more for adults with mental health conditions than any amount of specialist language. Classic Care Services is registered to support this group at home. Ask who supervises the carers, what experience they have of mental health work, and what the agency does when someone is in crisis or stops answering the door.

Physical Disability

Independence at home often hinges on equipment that is correctly fitted and carers who know how to use it. Classic Care Services is registered to support adults with a physical disability. Ask whether staff are trained on the hoist or standing aid in the house, whether two carers attend where that is required, and how the agency works with an occupational therapist on adaptations.

Visual / Hearing Impairment

Sight and hearing loss change how care has to be delivered, from where a carer stands to how medicines are labelled. Classic Care Services is registered to support people with a visual or hearing impairment. Ask whether carers say who they are on arrival, whether they are comfortable guiding someone safely, and how the agency handles hearing aids, lighting and written information in large print.
