About Us
We are Rare Impact Care, a home care agency in Crawley, West Sussex. We support older people and younger adults in their own homes, including people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition and people with a physical disability.
Home care only works when it is built around the person rather than around our convenience, so we begin by asking what a normal day looks like and where it has become difficult. The visits follow from that, and because circumstances change we review the arrangement instead of letting an old plan run on past its usefulness.
We put particular effort into continuity of carers. It is harder to roster and it improves care more than anything else, especially for someone with dementia or anyone who needs time before they will trust a new face, or who communicates in a way that takes a while to learn.
We keep families informed and speak up early when we notice a change.
