About Us
Evergood Medicals provides care and support to people in their own homes in Crawley and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We support older people, including many living with dementia, and adults of any age who have a learning disability or autism, a mental health condition, a physical disability, or a visual or hearing impairment. We also support people whose difficulties involve alcohol or drug misuse, and younger adults who want help to live more independently.
With that range of people, starting from a standard package would be no use to anybody. We begin by asking what is genuinely hard, what somebody already manages perfectly well and how they would like a visit to go, then agree the plan from those answers and set it out in plain language.
Visits can cover help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, moving safely around the home, laundry, shopping and getting to appointments. For some people the most valuable part is reliable company and someone who notices how they are doing.
Where support touches on sensitive ground we work without judgement and alongside the health professionals already involved rather than around them.
We agree timings and do our best to keep to them, and we aim to send the same small team to each household so that people are not explaining themselves afresh each week. Plans are reviewed honestly when circumstances change.
