About Us
We provide care at home around Hungerford and the surrounding part of west Berkshire, working from Inglewood. We support older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments, and people whose difficulties involve eating disorders or the use of alcohol or drugs.
That is a wide range of need, and it only works if we ask before we plan. For an older person, help often centres on personal care, medication, meals and keeping the house manageable. For somebody living with dementia, a familiar and unhurried carer does more good than anything written down. For a person whose difficulties are around eating or substance use, what helps most is staff who are steady, do not moralise and keep turning up.
Continuity is therefore the heart of the work rather than a detail of it. We try to send the same carers to the same households, because trust is slow to build and quickly undone, and a carer who knows somebody notices early when things are slipping.
Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach senior colleagues when a situation is unclear. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
If you are looking for support at home, do get in touch and we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.
