We give people the support they need to carry on living where they want to live. We visit older people and younger adults, including people with physical disabilities. Some households want several calls a day. Others want one, at the same time, from the same person. Before care begins we come out and talk. We want to understand the household, the routines that already work and the things that have become difficult, and we want the person themselves to shape the plan. Family members are welcome in that conversation when the person wants them there. Reliability is the part people notice most. We keep to agreed times as closely as we can, we let people know when something changes, and we try hard to send the same carers so that nobody has to explain themselves twice.
