About SureCare

SureCare supports people in their own homes across Salford and Manchester. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people whose sight or hearing has changed. Care at home is at its best when it is quietly reliable. That means turning up when we said we would, sending people the household already knows, allowing enough time so that a visit is not a scramble, and writing down what actually happened so the next carer is not guessing. Those things are unglamorous but they are what families notice and what keeps somebody safe at home for longer. What we help with varies a great deal. For one person it is washing and dressing each morning. For another it is help with medication, meals and shopping. For a third it is several calls a day, with a family carer doing the rest and needing to know we will be there so they can go to work. We plan our rounds so that people see the same faces, which is what allows our staff to notice when somebody is eating less, sleeping badly or becoming unsteady, and to say so early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering support at home, get in touch and we will talk it through with no obligation and no pressure.
