About Home at Peace
Home at Peace is a home care agency in Tower Hamlets, supporting people in their own homes across this part of London. Our name sets out what we are trying to achieve. A home should still feel calm and safe when care becomes part of daily life, and arranging that support should not be a source of worry for anyone. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have mental health needs, with people who have physical disabilities and with people who have visual or hearing impairment. Our visits cover personal care, support with medication, preparing meals, help with mobility, household tasks, and company or support to get out to appointments and to see people. We plan care with the person. We ask what time they like to wake, what they want to eat, what they want help with and what they would far rather manage themselves, and we involve family and other professionals as far as the person wishes. The plan is written down and reviewed as needs change. Our carers are trained for the clients they visit, and we keep the same small team around each person wherever we can. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are regulated by them and are building the records, routines and oversight that a good rating requires.
