About Us

At Comfort Call in Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, we provide home care support to people across our local community who want to remain living independently in their own homes. We work with older adults, younger adults, and people with a wide range of needs including dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also support people who are managing alcohol or drug misuse, and we approach every person we work with in the same way, with honesty, respect, and a genuine commitment to getting things right for them.

We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the hard work of everyone in our team and the trust that the people we support place in us every day. That rating matters to us, not as a badge, but as confirmation that we are doing things the right way.

Home care means something different to everyone. For some people it is help with getting up and going to bed. For others it might be support with meals, medication, or simply having someone reliable to check in with. We take the time to understand what each person actually wants from their care rather than applying a one size fits all approach. The people we support have told us how important it is to feel in control of their own lives, and that is something we keep at the centre of everything we do.

We are part of the Billingham community and we take that responsibility seriously. If you are looking for home care support for yourself or someone you care about, we would be very happy to have a conversation about how we might be able to help. There is no pressure, just a straightforward chat about what you need.
