About United Homecare

We are United Homecare, supporting adults in their own homes across Solihull and the surrounding part of Birmingham. We support older people and younger adults who need help with daily life. We have kept our focus clear rather than claiming to cover everything, and what we do is home care: help with washing and dressing, support with medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, shopping, and the ordinary company that often matters as much as any task written on a care plan. The point of it is to make staying in your own home a realistic option for as long as you want it, with help that fits around your life rather than replacing it. So we start by asking what somebody actually wants from us and what they would rather keep doing for themselves, because support that quietly takes over is resented and then refused. We also try to keep the same small group of workers going to the same person. A familiar face is easier to let into the house, and a worker who knows somebody notices sooner when they are unwell. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support at home.
