About The Care Trust
The Care Trust supports people in their own homes across Sefton and the neighbouring parts of Liverpool. We work with older people and with younger adults who need help to manage daily life. Most people contact us at a point when things have become harder and staying at home has started to feel uncertain. Our job is to make it workable again. That might mean a short call first thing to help with washing, dressing and getting breakfast, or several visits across the day, support with medication, help to get out to appointments, or a longer visit so a family carer can have a proper break. We meet the person before anything starts and agree what would actually help, rather than arriving with a package already decided. The plan goes into plain writing, and when things change we change it rather than carrying on out of habit. We put real effort into sending the same carers to the same households. Letting somebody into your home to help with private things is far easier when you know their face, and regular carers spot quickly when a person is unwell or unsettled. We are also straight about our limits. If we think somebody needs more than home care can safely provide, we will say so. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk things through.
