About Us
Goldfield Court, part of Housing 21, provides care and support to people living in their own flats in West Bromwich.
Extra care housing is a different proposition from a care home. The flat is the person's own, with their own front door, their own things and their own routine, and care comes to them rather than them moving into a setting built around care. For a great many older people that is exactly the arrangement they want: independence kept, with help on hand when it is needed.
We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment.
The support itself covers personal care, prompting and help with medication, meals, laundry, shopping and keeping the home in order, along with getting out to appointments or simply out for company.
