About Hanya Homecare

Hanya Homecare provides support at home to people in Nottingham and across Nottinghamshire. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with people who have mental health needs, physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment, and with younger adults who need support to live independently. We shape our visits around what the person actually wants rather than around a standard package. That might be a short call in the morning to help with washing, dressing and medication so the day starts safely, support at several points with meals, mobility and the house, or help getting out to appointments, the shops and the people who matter. For plenty of the households we visit, having a familiar person with time to talk is as valuable as the practical help. Before we begin we come out and talk it through with the person and whoever they want present, agree the plan in plain words and write it down, then review it as needs change. We are straightforward when we think somebody needs more than can safely be given at home. We work to send the same carers to the same households, because familiar carers notice the small changes, a dropped appetite, a new unsteadiness, a mood that has shifted, and can raise them early. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are registered with them and work to their standards. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
