About Us
Cedars Care provides support at home for people in Nottingham and the surrounding area. Our carers come to you, and the visit covers whatever has been agreed, from personal care and medication to cooking, shopping, housework, getting out to appointments or simply company and conversation.
The people we support include older people, many of them living with dementia, as well as younger adults, people with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss and people managing mental health conditions. Everything begins with a proper conversation in your own home about your routine, your preferences and where help would make the biggest difference. We write the plan from that and review it honestly as circumstances change, in either direction. If somebody needs less from us than they did, we would rather say so than keep visits running out of habit.
Keeping the same carers visiting the same people is something we protect. Familiarity does more good than almost anything else we can offer, and it means changes get noticed early by somebody who knows what normal looks like for that person.
